The FD-Series Daters provide a full diameter plug, larger than the standard Ring/Plug combination, where the Plug shows the months and year and requires an arrow engraved in the mold insert for month designation. The Plug sits on top of the shell rather than within it, and no height variation occurs during rotation of the Plug.
